About me:
- I grew up in the north east of England but have lived in London for the last ten years
- I’m a librarian but I don’t work with books
- I met my husband on a team building venture in Wales while I was dangling two foot off the floor pretending I was serious about going up the climbing wall (I’m scared of heights)
- My wonderful hubbie gave me my Audrey Hepburn moment by taking me to Tiffany 5th Avenue in New York to pick an engagement ring
- I’m mum to Max (aged almost three) who loves stories as much as I do
- My second baby is due in August 2011
- My ultimate dream is to move back to the north east and own a bookshop by the sea

Quite a mix there and my taste in books can be just as varied but my favourite genres are chick lit, historical fiction, paranormal romance and urban fantasy.
My favourite authors include David Mitchell, Rebecca Wells, Sophie Kinsella, Philippa Gregory, Jennifer Donnely, Melissa de la Cruz, Miranda Dickinson and Paige Toon.
